Advanced Focus: Guard Passing (vs. Closed and Open Guard)

  • Core Techniques:
  • Conceptual Goal: Emphasize connection, pressure, and grip breaking for effective passing.
  • Positional Sparring: "Submission Only Rotation"
    Setup
    : Same 4-person group.
    Goal: First to submit wins the round and stays in. If no submission after 90 seconds, rotate both out and bring in the next 2.
    Purpose: Develop a finishing mindset and submission chaining under pressure.
